building blocks（节选）

Snippet from “building blocks” by @parkermmmm and Dale Mitchell. Full video linked in his bio! A word from Parker on the creation of this video: “Featuring myself and my father, this video aims to explore what has impacted my cardistry and personal style within the community. Years prior to this I realized may of my moves and what I was drawn to usually had some level of balance in it’s move structure. This lead me down a rabbit hole to discover why that may be. Growing up I would go into the woods with my family during family reunions or vacations to spend time playing in the creeks or stacking stones. My dad, Dale Mitchell, was a stone mason at the time so took to teaching us all tips and tricks for locking rocks into place organically. I feel it would be foolish to drush off the impact this could have on my life and creative journey. It of course may not be THE ONLY thing that has impacted my style greatly, but it sure does feel like a big one. I hope to inspire others to question why they are where they are with cardistry or any creative venture for that matter. Put it into words and make something special. You never know who you will inspire.” #cardistrycore #cardistry
