Back in March of 2021 I got to see the sunrise in the Mojave Desert. It was easily the most memorable place I've ever traveled to. My filming buddies (@bendomingueztv and @erikdanford) and I drove about an hour off-road into a giant opening of nothing. No animals, no bugs, no plants, no other cars, no sound, nothing. This video sounds like it has no audio but that's exactly what it sounded like. At night time the full moon lit up the desert floor as if it were the sun. You could see everything. Next time I'd like to visit when the moon isn't visible so I can see what it's like to have the stars light up the terrain. Every now and again I find myself thinking about this place.
