SOUTHPAW Emotional ties to creating is what keeps me here. After making and performing 13 moves in the span of 6 months for my video PART III, I was on the edge of cardistry not being my primary. I was burnt out, creating with no real purpose but to make the most complex and abstract moves. Feeling lost I explored new hobbies and looked for comfort as I felt shunned out of cardistry. Self doubt and insecurities ran through my mind everytime I tried to create. This feeling lingered for close to a year. It wasn’t until I stumbled upon this opener. For some reason this opener dragged me back in, I felt like I belonged again. I had gotten the same feeling I got when I created the opener for 2JZ. I was at CC17 showing everybody what I had made. The same proud and ambitious feeling of creating something I truly enjoyed. Southpaw is one of the most important moves i’ve made. My pride and joy, Forever and always. #cardistry
