Cardistry-Con 2025 was my second year organizing the event. To step into this legacy, carry forward a cornerstone of our culture, and see it continue to grow is a privilege I’ll never take for granted. More than 150 cardists from across the globe transformed an intimate New York venue into a weekend-long celebration of one of the world’s most unique creative subcultures. As organizers, we’ve learned how to structure the weekend with the audience in mind: the welcome reception, film festival, awards, live contests, a buzzing sales booth, the 5k run, and some of the highest-quality video screenings cardistry has ever seen. Still, those were just the headline events. The real magic lived in the moments in between — the conversations, the friendships, the late-night jams, the spark of inspiration you only get when the whole community comes together. Some memories stand out clearly: attendees who traveled over 20 hours just to be there, Violet (6) as our youngest participant, and my own brother Gustav joining for the first time. I even got to DJ in Manhattan, and on the last night we closed it all with an afterparty at Evil Twin Brewery — the perfect ending to perhaps the best weekend of the year. A huge thank you to @tobiaslvn for co-organizing, to @myturn4real for being the most charismatic showmaster, to USPCC for sponsoring, and to the community itself for showing up and supporting us with so much love. I’ll never forget what we created together this year. Cardistry-Con is proof that the best communities grow not from scale, but from care. Next stop: Copenhagen, Denmark 🇩🇰 Summer 2026.
