this is one of two ‘video portraits’ I made for a 2023 school assignment which I thoroughly misunderstood. despite getting zero credit, I loved making them. it’s easy to dissociate while watching something, so posing people in front of a tv that was playing a piece of media of their choosing allowed for a strange sense of vulnerability. it just so happened that both portraits were filmed late at night. as always, thank you to Jorge for always going along with my ideas
