“Feathering”

“Feathering” Groundwork for this move was laid by accident as I was practicing a different thing. The thumb pivot and simultaneous index push into base of thumb felt insanely good and everything else was designed around that. Closer took forever to establish and was finalized a few days before filming Important Documents. After the slide and initial comfy moment, I originally went in a different more complex direction, but eventually came to the conclusion it had to be simplified (after months of iteration). Final outcome is one of the better things I’ve done in recent years in my opinion. Name is a reference to aircraft propellers individually or collectively rotating to allow for air to flow through, which I think the quad packet climax vaguely resembles. #cardistry
