I haven’t posted in over a year. Not entirely sure why, considering what a crazy past year it’s been. So let’s start with a throwback to last March, where the strangest yet most fulfilling Cardistry event happened to me in Israel. ♠️ — I visited Israel for a holiday with some singers/musicians from New Creation Church Singapore (yep, I sing in church), and unintentionally ended up hanging out with Cardists from all over Israel. — Unintentionally how? I boarded the plane and posted an IG story to say I was headed over. ✈️ Then, about 17 strangers from Israel DMed me. Turned out that they were all part of larger a Cardistry community in Israel. At the time, I had no idea that there even was a Cardistry community in Israel, and I wasn’t far from wrong... because they had all met just two months ago. And how they met was even crazier. — They had met through a @thevirts IG post we did to help Cardists in the same country meet each other. And overnight, these Cardists went from thinking that they were the only ones in their part of the world, to becoming a community of friends. Best of all, I got to meet them in person, hang out over dinner, and jam till midnight. It was mind blowing and deeply humbling 🤯 - truly one of the most surreal and fulfilling experiences of my life. ❤️ — I don’t share this enough, but I guess what I’m saying is that I’m grateful to God for blessing me with incredible teammates in @thevirts where we get to do such meaningful work, for giving me such amazing opportunities to connect and meet people globally, and for giving Cardistry so much meaning in my life - from shuffling cards and beyond. What a life. I don’t deserve it but I sure am thankful for it. Thank You Jesus.🙏🏻 — And for everyone who has been supporting @thevirts, thank you! There’ll be more to come from us soon. —
